Booking Appointments
Please be kind and patient, our front staff are trained to help patients and we make every effort to make your experience pleasant and comfortable. Please note that we are completely supportive of our staff and neither the doctor nor management will tolerate any rude or aggressive behavior.

To set up booking an appointment online:
1. Call us at 250-368-5656 and confirm your cell and e-mail address is on file
2. Follow the instructions that will be sent to you via text
3. Book online with your practitioner!
We will do our very best to book you a timely appointment, either as a phone consultation or in-clinic visit with one of our primary care providers.
Cancellation and Missed Appointments
As we are a very busy clinic, we require unneeded appointments to be cancelled with no less than 24 hours notice so that it can be used by a patient in need. Missed appointments will result in a $25 fee that will be charged to the patient. Thank you for your understanding.
Confidentiality and Privacy
All of our staff have signed confidentiality agreements and we are dedicated to ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality. We cannot guarantee the privacy of anything sent to us by email so we recommend you contact the office by phone for all inquiries.
In case of an Emergency
If you need medical services when our clinic is closed, you can call 9-1-1, go to the local ER, or call 811 for nurse advice.

Lab Booking
***Please note the Trial Lab is closing as of July 28th, 2025. The Trail Lab is open Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm. To book an appointment call 1-844-870-4756 between the hours of 9 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday, or book online at www.labonlinebooking.ca

X-Ray Hours
X-Ray Hours at KBRH are Monday – Friday 12:30 -5 pm. Services are available on weekends 9am-3pm, although not recommended as priority goes to inpatients.
Lab and Medical Imaging Results - My Health Portal
MyHealthPortal is an online tool that allows Interior Health citizens 24-7 secure access to their personal health information.
View your lab results, medical imaging reports (such as X-Ray, CT, and ultrasound scans), certain transcribed reports, upcoming IH facility appointments, and recent visit history.

Prescription Refills
We do not renew prescriptions without an appointment.
If you require a prescription refill, please book your appointment at least 3-4 weeks in advance of need by phoning 250-368-5656.
Uninsured Services
Some medical office services, called uninsured services, are not covered by BC Health Insurance and must be paid for directly by the patient. For example, Driver’s Medical Forms, Disability Forms, Workplace Forms, Workplace and School Notes/Letters from your provider. These fees may be covered under a patient’s private health insurance and the patient may be reimbursed for fees paid to the clinic. Contact your extended health benefits provider for more information.
We will inform patients of any charges in advance of receiving the service. Exceptions may be made for patients with financial difficulty. Please talk to your primary care provider directly if you feel you may qualify.

If you do not currently have a family physician or nurse practitionier
We are not currently accepting new patients.
Patients looking for a family physician should ensure they register on Kootenay Boundary’s Health Connect Registry (Or call 811 to register). The Health Connect Registry is a new region-wide patient registry for people who are looking for a physician or nurse practitioner. All clinic lists are being combined on this registry and patients are being attached to practitioners in chronological order as space becomes available.
